The Nuclear Football is a black briefcase, the contents of which is to be used by the President of the United States of America to authorize a nuclear attack while away from fixed command centers, such as the White House Situation Room.
A replica of this was gifted to India when we bought a billion dollar worth C-17 aircrafts from Russia in 2002.Since then it is handed over to the prime minister or the puppet man/woman(party president) after each election.
